Strengthening The Indonesian Electric Vehicle Ecosystem, MG Motor Collaborates With AEML

JAKARTA - After announcing to assemble electric vehicles in the country, MG Motor Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment by collaborating with the Electric Mobility Ecosystem Association (AEML).

As is known, AEML is an association consisting of the government and the private sector, which is indeed involved in the Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle (KBLBB) industry, the steps taken by MG are also to strengthen the electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia.

"We believe that the future of the automotive industry lies in sustainable mobility, our vision is beyond the achievements in the field of sales and production, and continues to be committed to leading the transformation in Indonesia," said Arief Syarifudin, Marketing and PR Director of MG Motor Indonesia, Thursday, November 23.

Through collaboration with various stakeholders, MG strives not only to provide electric vehicles, but also strengthen infrastructure and education, exploring increasing the number of charging stations to public understanding of the benefits and uses of electric vehicles.

On this occasion, Anugraha Dezmercoledi, Executive Director of the Ecosystem Association (AEML) expressed his appreciation and full support for MG's determination to support the acceleration of the adoption of electric vehicles in the country.

"I and all AEML ranks really appreciate MG's steps, especially for local production. This step will further increase public trust," said Anugraha.

Meanwhile, MG has also collaborated with various parties to support the EV ecosystem, such as PLN, Voltron, Lidiara Power to strengthen the electric vehicle ecosystem.

"This innovative collaboration will encourage the realization of Green Indonesia, which is a joint movement to change the paradigm towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future," Arief concluded.
