Chery Records Largest Global Sales Record In October 2023

JAKARTA - The rapid development experienced by Chery at this time deserves respect by its rivals, globally Cherry managed to record sales of more than 200,000 vehicles during October 2023 alone. This achievement is also the largest so far this year.

In total, the brand has recorded 200,313 units worldwide for all its lineup of models in October proving that the Chinese company has a significant role in the development of the global industry.

With a large investment in Argentina, CKD investments in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, are an illustration of Chery preparing to serve various market segments, including electric vehicles.

In Indonesia, Chery relies on the Tiggo Pro and Omoda 5 series, which have sold 3,418 units as of October 2023. Of the total sales, Omoda 5 contributed 75 percent in 2023.

From November 2022 to November 2023, sales of Chery in Indonesia continued to increase, with an average sales of 400 units per month from the Tiggo 7 Pro, Tiggo 8 Pro, and Omoda 5 models that are currently popular on the market.

In addition to the success of sales, Chery's popularity has increased with the achievements of Omoda 5, which won seven awards during his presence in Indonesia, including the 'Most Driver Car' award at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), and four awards for the Tiggo Pro series.
