JAKARTA - Since adopting hybrid technology on its models, Suzuki has never received any complaints or problems related to this latest system.

The data show that 12,993 Suzuki car owners using Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) have proven that this technology-based vehicle maintenance runs without any problems.

Currently, SHVS technology has been applied to some of Suzuki's newest models. This technology is here to meet consumer needs for environmentally friendly vehicles.

Hariadi, Asst. to Dept. Head Service of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS), stated that the hybrid car presented by the Japanese company was not only comfortable to use, but the maintenance was not confusing.

"Not only because of ease of use and maintenance, the costs are also affordable and not different from the previous models," Hariadi said in a statement, Monday, August 14.

In Indonesia, Suzuki offers three models with SHVS technology, namely All New Ertiga Hybrid, XL7 Hybrid, and Grand Vitara.

The company mentions that the total routine maintenance costs for hybrid models such as the XL7 Hybrid and the All New Ertiga Hybrid in five years are in the range of IDR 6 million.

Hariadi added that the company is committed to continuing to provide the best service to loyal consumers. Moreover, SHVS technology developed by Suzuki has a positive impact on the environment.

"The SHVS technology that exists in some of our units is proof that we want to always present the best products to meet consumer needs and support the government's efforts to reduce environmental pollution," said Hariadi.

The Suzuki XL7 Hybrid carries a tough and modern concept. With a medium-sized front goal design with a touch of black accent, this car looks fresher.

The XL7 Hybrid uses environmentally friendly SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle) technology, covering two components, namely the Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) and lithium-ion batteries that support the performance of the 1,500 cc engine with the K15B code.

The K15B 1,500 cc 4-cylinder engine in this SUV produces up to 103.2 dk of power and 138 Nm of torque. The auto-stop engine feature is also installed to save fuel, so the emissions are not wasted during the trip.

Suzuki XL7 Hybrid, competes with Hyundai Creta, offered from IDR 283 million and is available in three interesting variants, namely Alpha, Beta, and Zeta.
