Manchester United's Defeat Hero Named Morgan Rogers

Unai Emery heaped praise on Morgan Rogers after his two stunning goals helped Aston Villa beat Manchester United on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Villa Park.

The goal also extended the Villans' winning streak to 10 games in a row.

The 23-year-old continued his impressive form after last week also scored two brilliant goals as Aston Villa came from behind to win 3-2 at home to West Ham.

The scenario against Manchester United was almost similar. After the opening goal Rogers was equalized by Matheus Cunha, he again brought his team back to victory and maintained a 2-1 victory.

A 10th successive win in all competitions, seven of which have been consecutive in the Premier League, puts them third in the table and just three points behind leaders Arsenal ahead of Christmas.
