Asian Champions League Results 2: Persib Win 1-0 Over Bangkok United, Secure Tickets To The Last 16

Persib narrowly won over Bangkok United, securing tickets for the knockout phase of the Asian Champions League 2 (doc. Persib).

JAKARTA - Persib Bandung managed to continue its steps to the knockout phase of the AFC Champions League Two (Liga Champions Asia 2) after making sure to win Group G.

This certainty was obtained after Maung Bandung managed to beat Bangkok United in the group's final match. In the match which took place at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA), Bandung, the host won with a narrow score of 1-0.

With the status of the home team, Persib immediately appeared aggressive from the early minutes. Maung Bandung even kicked off and was awarded a penalty in the third minute.

This situation occurred after Uiliam Barros was brought down by Philipe Maia. Despite having a golden opportunity, the advantage failed to be created because the execution of 12 shots just hit the post.
