Had An Injury, 2 Top Scores Persib Bandung Again Ahead Of The Opponents Of Bangkok United

Andrew Jung can appear when Persib host Bangkok United in the Asian Champions League 2 (doc. Persib).

JAKARTA - Two players who are the top scorers for Persib Bandung again ahead of the match against Bangkok United in AFC Champions League Two (Asian Champions League 2 League 2) 2025/2026. Both are Adam Alis and Andrew Jung who recovered from injury.

The meeting with Bangkok United is a crucial match because it determines Persib Bandung's steps in the Asian club tournament. Ahead of the match which took place at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA), Wednesday, December 11, 2025, WIB night, Maung Bandung actually only needed a draw for the ticket to the knockout round.

In the midst of that target, Persib can be calmer and more confident. The reason is, the squad is getting stronger with the return of Adam Alis and Andrew Jung.

Regarding the condition of the players, Bojan Hodak as Persib coach confirmed that his team was in the best condition ahead of the crucial match against Bangkok United.

"The team's preparation is very good. We have four days to prepare after fighting Borneo FC in the Super League," said Bojan Hodak.

According to Bojan Hodak, the victory over Borneo FC in the previous match made his team have more enthusiasm when they face the Thai team.

"Especially in the last match, we won an important victory and that's certainly good for the team. We are in a good atmosphere too," he said.

Even though Persib only needed one point against Bangkok United to qualify for the knockout phase, Bojan Hodak emphasized that his team was still targeting victory.
