Bojan Hodak is confident that he can get points when Persib host Bangkok United in the Asian 2 Champions League (doc. Persib).

JAKARTA - Persib Bandung will undergo a decisive match in the AFC Champions League Two (Liga Champions Asia 2) by hosting Bangkok United. Ahead of the crucial match, Bojan Hodak as coach of Maung Bandung was confident in his team's strength.

Persib Bandung's meeting with Bangkok United is the last match of Group G ACL 2 2025/2026. The match will take place at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA) on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, WIB night.

This match is predicted to run fiercely because both teams are both eyeing victory. However, Bojan Hodak showed confidence ahead of the decisive duel. Moreover, the coach emphasized that his team was in optimal condition.

"The team's preparation is very good, we have four days to prepare after fighting Borneo FC in the Super League," Bojan Hodak was quoted as saying on the club's official website on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

Apart from being the host, Persib's additional spirit also came thanks to the victory bagged against Borneo FC in the domestic league.

"Especially in the last match we won an important victory and that's certainly good for the team. We are in a good atmosphere too," he said.

With a situation that can be called very profitable, Bojan Hodak inevitably targets to pursue maximum results. The coach insists that his team is still aiming for victory at home to Bangkok United even though the draw is enough to ensure tickets qualify for the knockout stages of the Asian Champions League 2.

At the first meeting with Bangkok United at the Pathum Thani Stadium, Persib also had a sweet record because they managed to win 2-0. On the other hand, Bojan Hodak did not want to be happy, he still warned his players not to underestimate the opponent.

"During the first meeting in Thailand, they were quite difficult. So, we hope that tomorrow we will get positive results," said the coach.

Although now leading the Group G standings of the Asian Champions League 2 with 10 points from five matches, Maung Bandung's position is not yet completely safe because he lost head-to-head to Lion City Sailors.
