PON Bela Diri Kudus 2025 Becomes A Jujitsu Net For Athletes Potential

KUDUS PON Bela Diri Kudus 2025 entered its third phase on Saturday, October 25. The Executive Board of Jujitsu Indonesia (PBJI) admitted that this event was their means to capture potential in the coaching of athletes as well as selection.

Dedy Triharjanto as the General Chair of PBJI said that the 2025 Kudus Self-Defense PON functions like a coaching laboratory, where the federation collects performance and mental data competing athletes from various regions.

According to Dedy, this event is also a forum for assessing the athletes' abilities as well as measuring the readiness of those who will face world championships and the SEA Games.

"The opportunity and championship like this means a lot to us to screen athletes. We have a data collection and processing system for outstanding athletes which we will use later to determine who will represent Indonesia in international events," said Dedy at the Media Center PON Martial Arts 2025 on Friday, October 24.

In 2025, jujitsu has two important agendas at the international level. One of them is the championship in Bahrain, there will also be a world championship to be held in Bangkok in early December 2025.

For the two prestigious events, PBJI said that most of the names of athletes that would be sent were the result of their performance at the Kudus Self-Defense PON.

"So this year there are two international opportunities. Where did you take it? Yes, from here (PON Martial)," said Dedy asserted.

PON Bela Diri Kudus 2025 is an important point for the junitsu branch, because it is a forum for evaluating regional development as well as an indicator of the readiness of the national training program.

In addition, a neat implementation and competitive atmosphere at the Djarum Arena, Kudus, provides space for young athletes to feel the pressure of national matches.

As of Saturday, October 25, jujitsu is still being competed. The newaza category was held from the preliminary round to the final, as well as closing the ju-jitsu sport at the 2025 Kudus Self Defense PON.
