China Masters 2025 Complete Results: An Se Young Keeps The Title

JAKARTA South Korean women's singles badminton player, An Se Young, managed to defend the China Masters title after defeating the host representative Han Yue in the final round.

The final match of the 2025 China Masters at Shenzhen Arena will be completed on Sunday, September 21, 2025 evening WIB. The host of China won the overalls thanks to bringing home two titles.

An Se Young appeared strong throughout the tournament without losing a set to guard the title from the Super 750 BWF level badminton event.

When playing the final against Han Yue, the first seed appeared strong in just 33 minutes. Han Yue, who is the third seed, was forced to only get a total of 14 points in both games (11 points in the first game and three points in the second game).

At the beginning of the first game, Han Yue only had the opportunity to lead 1-0 and after that continued to lag behind. As for the second game, An Se Young immediately took the 8-0 lead and was unstoppable.

This is the second An Se Young title from the China Masters. Last year he came out as champion in this tournament after defeating deputy host Gao Fangjie, who made the surprise run into the final stage.

This year, the two host titles from the China Masters were contributed by Weng Hongyang from the men's singles and Jia Yifan/Zhang Shuxian from the women's doubles sector.

Hongyang climbed the highest podium after defeating Lin Chun Yi from China Taipei, while Jia/Zhang lifted the trophy thanks to a win over South Korean women's doubles, Kim Hye Jeong/Kong Hee Yong.

Of the mixed doubles, the highest podium is occupied by Thailand's fourth seed, Dechapol Puavaranukroh / Supissara Paewsampran. They beat Malaysian waki Chen Tang Jie / Toh Ee Wei.

Finally, the men's doubles title belonged to Kim Won Ho/Seo Seung Jae from South Korea, who defeated representatives from India, Chirag Shetty/Satwiksairaj Rankireddy.

Meanwhile, the farthest journey for Indonesian representatives in this tournament is the semifinals. Of the total 14 representatives sent, only Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri stepped on that phase.
