JAKARTA The number of participants in the 53rd Artistic Gymnastics World Championships or the 2025 Artistic Gimnastic World Championships has now reached 86 countries.
The prestigious event is scheduled to take place at the Indonesia Arena, Senayan, Jakarta, on 19-25 October 2025.
The chairman of the Indonesian Gamenastic Federation, Ita Yuliati, said that the number of participants was a record because so far it has usually only been followed by around 70 more countries.
"Currently there are 86 participating countries, which are records and a total of approximately 600 athletes and officials 1,500," he said.
The exact number of tournament participants was only known with certainty at the close of registration on July 20, 2025. So, there is still the possibility that there will be additional participants.
