Mario Aji Wants To Fix Results In Moto2 Argentina

JAKARTA Mario Suryo Aji is aiming for the target of improving the results when he appears in the second Moto2 2025 race which will take place in Argentina next week.

The Argentine Grand Prix is scheduled to take place at the Rio de Hondo Termas Circuit on March 14-17, 2025. Mario Aji also has a time lag of approximately 10 days to prepare himself.

"I look forward to improving performance in Argentina and achieving better results," said the 20-year-old, as reported by HRC Honda Racing.

The rider who strengthened the Idemetsu Honda Team Asia started the opening of this season nicely at the Thai Grand Prix which took place at Chang International Circuit, Buriram.

He managed to maintain a consistent pace throughout the race and stayed close to the top 10 before finally crossing the 15th finish line to secure a point.

Mario admitted that he did not appear in a really top 100 percent condition. Throughout the race he struggled to endure pain on the shoulder.

"There are many positive things that can be taken and learned for the next round. Although I am happy, I am not completely satisfied with today's results. So, we will continue to work hard," said Mario.

Mario started the race in Thailand from the 14th position. He then had time to rise to 11th on the ninth lap, but his position then slumped in the final lap of the race.

This is Mario's second season in the Moto2 event. He finished in 15th place four times last season (at the Catalunya Grand Prix, Italy, Aragon, and Australia) to collect four points.
