Moise Kean Was Treated At The Hospital After Collapsed Due To Head Injury

Fiorentina striker Moise Kean was rushed to hospital after experiencing a head impact.

However, he was still playing before finally collapsing on the field in the match against Hellas Verona in Serie A 2024/2025, Sunday, February 23, 2025, WIB night.

Kean was hit in the head while fighting for the ball. His face hit Pawel Dawidowicz's knee.

Kean was treated first by the medical team in the field and then allowed to return to play and continue playing.

However, he suddenly lost his balance and fell. Players from both teams then told the medical team who rushed to the field.

The striker, Serie A's second-largest goalscorer this season with 15 goals, was taken off the pitch on a stretcher and was seen wearing a neck support before he was rushed to hospital.

"Fiorentina announced that Moise Kean, during the match against Verona, was experiencing head trauma."

"He was in hospital to undergo a test," Fiorentina said in a statement.

Fiorentina lost 0-1 after Antoine Bernede scored for the hosts in the fifth minute of injury time.

It was the second major threat to Fiorentina this season after midfielder Edoardo Bove collapsed on the pitch against Inter Milan in December 2024, which caused the match to be canceled.

Bove underwent successful surgery and was fitted with a removable defibrillator, a tool to prevent a fatal heart attack by giving a surprise to restore normal heart rhythm.
