The Cross-Administrative Management Forum For Pelti Will Hold A Munaslub

The Cross-Provincial Management Forum from the Indonesian Tennis Lawn Association (doc. Forum Pelti).

JAKARTA The Provincial Management Cross Forum from the Indonesian Lawn Tennis Association (Pelti) is committed to holding an Extraordinary National Conference (Munaslub) to save the organization.

This seriousness was conveyed by two representatives of the forum, Rudi Basuki and Teuku Taufan, after attending a meeting via zoom with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) on Thursday, January 16, 2025.

The online meeting with the agenda of clarifying the Application for the Proposal for the Implementation of the PP Pelti National Conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, PP Pelti, the Lintas Pengprov Pelti Forum, and the Central Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI).

"The Forum emphasizes the importance of transparent and accountable communication between PP Pelti and Pengprov to resolve conflicts that harm the organization," said Rudi Basuki in a statement.

The Munaslub plan has the support of 2/3 provincial administrators. The Forum insists on holding a Munaslub to save the Pelti organization and advance national tennis.

This forum had previously sent a motion of not believing in PP Pelti to the Central KONI with proof of official receipts on January 6, 2025. However, there was a rebuttal that the motive was not received.

Rudi Basuki said that in the meeting the Lintas Pengprov Pelti Forum firmly denied the claim. They asked KONI to re-check the incoming letter agenda.

"On the five-minute opportunity, the forum conveyed several important points, including the initial problems stemming from communication that was not well established between PP Pelti and Pengprov," he said.

On the other hand, PP Pelti accused the forum of committing treason and being investigated like criminals. They then frozen the West Java (West Java) Provincial Government and the determination of the executor (Plt) who violated the organization's AD/ART.

The motion letter not to believe in Pelti was submitted on December 31, 2024. One of the important points in it is to apply for the PP Pelti Munaslub in accordance with the organization's AD/ART.

Taufan said that if the letter was not responded to until January 31, 2025, the legal forum would hold the Munaslub independently on February 1, 2025.

"So, the accusation of treason is completely baseless because Article 11 of Article 11 of Article 11 of Article 11 is clearly regulated regarding freedom in criticizing policies and defending oneself if harmed. Here PP Pelti violates the rules again," he said.

Another thing that becomes the basis and to equalize the perceptions of supporters of the Pengprov Pelti Forum is the awareness regarding the Pelti Organizational Regulation Number 5 concerning Guidelines for Penjaringan and Screening of General Chair Pelti in Chapter V 5.4b points.

There was an affirmation that the candidate for chairman must be free from a criminal sentence of more than two years. However, the TPP Team played an important role by passing Ketum PP Pelti from this requirement.

Taufan hopes that the Ministry of Youth and Sports and KONI will provide full support for the implementation of the Munaslub in accordance with constitutional provisions to save the organization.

"With this meeting, the Lintas Pengprov Pelti Communication Forum hopes to pave the way for conflict resolution in the organization and ensure better communication between PP Pelti and Pengprov in the future," said Taufan.
