Transfer Crowds Around Arsenal, PSG, And Juventus

JAKARTA - The winter transfer market in January 2025 is not very stretched. Even so, there are still things that attract attention.

Later, Dusan Vlahovic's name has become a topic of conversation. Arsenal applied for an interest in the Juventus striker rather than Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.

Calciomercato said Sesko was indeed the Gunners' priority, but the winter deal for the 21-year-old would be difficult to complete.

While negotiations for Vlahovic to renew his contract with I Bianconeri have stalled even though the attacker has a contract until June 2026.

The 24-year-old wants to move to the Premier League. Chances are, the deal will cost around 60 million euros, which could allow Juventus to recruit Joshua Zirkzee from Manchester United.

However, Juventus manager Thiago Motta signaled that he was reluctant to release the Serbian striker.

"I'm not talking about the transfer market. Dusan is still in the recovery stage, his condition is not 100 percent".

"We can't risk losing him any longer. So, we'll see what happens over the next three days," Motta said after the match against Atalanta, Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

Juventus have actually prepared an option if they lose Vlahovic. They have reached an agreement on Randal Kolo Muani's loan from Paris Saint-Germain over the next six months.

However, there was a big chance that Muani turned to England considering Tottenham Hotspur also made an official offer to PSG.

PSG also reportedly received Spurs' offer as a loan with the purchase option.

Spurs, who are in 11th place in the Premier League standings, want to strengthen their attackers. They are ready to bear Kolo Muani's salary of 700,000 euros per month.

It remains now that the decision is in the hands of Kolo Muani, whether to go to Juventus or Spurs.

Kolo Muani, who has played 37 times for his country with nine goals, is eager to move to England and other clubs, including Everton, West Ham United, and Aston Villa, which have shown interest.

Kolo Muani actually still has a contract until June 2028. However, the transfer story means the striker is looking for a new challenge after joining PSG for 95 million euros from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023.
