JAKARTA - The Jagakarsa Police held a Boxing competition entitled 'Jagakarsa Boxing Open'. The Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora), Dito Ariotedjo, appreciated the holding of this sports competition in the Jagakarsa Police area.

"So I really appreciate, especially the Chief of Police who chose a way like this to embrace the younger generation, to ensure that the energy of young people in South Jakarta is distributed," Dito told reporters at the Jagakarsa Police, South Jakarta, Saturday, June 10.

"Distributing energy is very important because if it is not issued, it can limit their abilities," he continued.

Dito also assessed that with the holding of this Boxing sports competition, for him this was the first step to reduce the level of violence, especially brawls between students.

"I believe the level of violence in the world of education will decrease. So those who want to cool can be in this boxing ring," he said.

On the occasion, Dito hoped that the Jagakarsa Police's concern for this sport could be followed by other police stations. So that teenagers and new big children in the vicinity can want to do their strength in its place

"Hopefully this can be an example. Imagine that the entire city of DKI Jakarta can imitate it," he said.
