For State Civil Servants In Ambon City, Ahok Is 'Extra Joss'

JAKARTA - The main commissioner of PT Pertamina Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok discussed public services with officials and state civil servants (ASN) at Ambon City Hall.

Ambon Mayor Richard Louhenapessy said Ahok's visit was a series of friendships during a working visit to the city of Ambon.

"This visit is an encouragement for 'extra joss' and adds strength for us to serve the community," he said, Monday, November 1.

Richard explained that with all the approaches taken as mayor, he did not talk much about his background or work.

"Maybe the officials already know who Ahok is, please ask about his experience," he said.

The opportunity for dialogue was used by officials and ASN within the Ambon City Government to ask questions, including related to fire fighting exercises at the Fuel Oil Terminal (TBBM) and assistance for fire facilities for firefighters in Ambon.

Basuki Tjahaja Purnama stated that he strongly agrees with the fire prevention efforts at TBBM. He said the islands would face problems in the event of a fire, so there is nothing wrong with the city government asking Pertamina for assistance.

"The application for assistance can be through MOR, we will encourage it to be given because it is important," said Ahok.

After the dialogue, Ahok took a selfie with the ASN.

"To facilitate the photo process, I will go to the officials and ASN," he said as he walked towards the ASN who were waiting for a group photo.
