The Robber Who Killed Transjakarta Employees In Cakung Successfully Arrested, The Perpetrator Turns Out To Have A Bad Record

JAKARTA - The teenage gang of robbers that killed a Transjakarta Bus Service Officer (PLB) named Sigit Priantono (34) has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cakung Police and the Resmob of the East Jakarta Metro Police. From the results of police investigations, found a new mode of action of this street crime.

"It was recorded that there were 5 suspects with the initials AH, MR, MT, A (DPO) and MAD (DPO). This new modus operandi of robbery is by pretending to ask the victim and say "this is the culprit". Then the victim who doesn't know anything tries to save herself The AH herd together chased the victim and held the victim's hand," said the East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Pol Erwin Kurniawan to VOI, Monday 1 November.

The police chief explained that each suspect had a different role. Suspect AH played a role in slashing once at the victim, then MR and MT held the victim's hand. AD (DPO) and MAD (DPO) also stabbed the victim.

After carrying out the action, the perpetrators immediately fled. However, thanks to the hard work of the Cakung Police, assisted by the East Jakarta Resmob, suspect AH was arrested in his hometown of Purwakarta.

"From the arrest of AH, it is known that there are 4 other suspects. The suspects MR and MT were also arrested at different locations. The three were detained at the Cakung Police," he said.

Based on the crime records at the East Jakarta Metro Police, AH is known to have a pile of crime reports. In fact, AH has also become a DPO in the ranks of the police in the Bekasi area and other areas around Jakarta.

"In this robbery, AH was a promoter to carry out violent theft activities. AH was a DPO in several areas including Bekasi, there were several incidents and other areas around Jakarta. In his activities, the suspect had the same modus operandi," said the Police Chief.

Even from AH's crime record, Grand Commissioner Erwin said that AH since graduating from high school (SMA) has been the initiator of brawls, especially in the Cakung area. "AH has a track record of robbery crimes in several crime scenes (TKP)," he said.

The suspect is charged with Article 365 of the Criminal Code paragraph (4), where theft with violence causes the victim to die, with the threat of imprisonment for 20 years or life or the death penalty.

Previously, it was reported that Sigit, a Transjakarta Bus Service Officer (PLB), died as a result of being robbed by a group of people around the bus stop in the Ujung Menteng area, on Monday, October 25. He had a stab wound to his left arm.

The perpetrators attacked Sigit using sharp weapons such as sickles. Then snatched the cellphone and ran away leaving the victim lying on the ground. Residents tried to help, but their efforts failed because Sigit's stab wound was so deep.

So when Sigit was taken to the Ananda Bekasi Hospital, he was declared dead due to blood loss. Then, Sigit's body was taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta for an autopsy.

Sigit's body was buried at the Kampung Bali TPU, Ujung Menteng Village, Cakung, East Jakarta, Monday, October 25.
