JAKARTA - Transportation Policy Analyst Azas Tigor Nainggolan noted that this traffic accident involving the Transjakarta fleet must be evaluated and empowered for Transjakarta bus drivers. The goal is for Transjakarta bus drivers not to be reckless on the highway.

According to Tigor, the people who are most responsible for the series of Transjakarta bus accidents are the management and directors of Transjakarta, it is necessary to carry out an audit.

"So that in the future there will be improvements in the management of Transjakarta services. Transjakarta operators or drivers must be given strict sanctions," said Azas Tigor to reporters, Monday, November 1.

Strict sanctions, Tigor continued, must be given so that Transjakarta management has a sense of responsibility so that there are no more victims due to the Transjakarta bus accident. And the Police, still said Tigor, need to give strict sanctions to the management of Transjakarta as the person responsible for causing traffic accidents, as regulated and supported by regulations in article 359 and article 360 of the Criminal Code.

On the second note, Tuesday, March 10, 2020, a Transjakarta bus crashed into a car driven by the wife of Police General Boy Raffi in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta.

On the third note, on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at around 07.00 western Indonesia time, a Transjakarta bus from the PPD operator hit a motorbike user at the intersection of four, Jalan Matraman, East Jakarta.

Fourth note, Thursday, March 12, 2020, a Transjakarta bus hit a child crossing the road on Pemuda Street, Rawamangun, East Jakarta.
