The Transjakarta Driver Who Hits Gandaria City Road Barrier Fired

JAKARTA - Transjakarta bus driver or driver with hull number PPD418 was fired. The driver was stopped after hitting a movable concrete barrier (MCB) on Jalan Gandaria City, South Jakarta, some time ago.

"According to the operator's statement, the driver who crashed into the MCB is currently being fired by the operator partner. This is done as an effort so that similar incidents do not happen again in the future," said PT Transjakarta operational director Prasetia Budi in his statement, Sunday, October 31.

Prasetia explained that currently the bus with the Kampung Rambutan-Harmoni route (7F) which had a single accident had stopped operating temporarily and was returned to the depot.

"There were no victims, the officers immediately secured the scene, controlled traffic, and called a large crane. The front axle was broken and the evacuation had to be lifted," he said.
