For The Sake Of A Parking Lot With A Turnover Of Rp. 100 Million Per Month, Nephew Kills His Uncle's Life Using The Services Of A Hit Man

JAKARTA – Just because of a parking deposit, a man in Bogor decided to kill his own uncle in Cileungsi, Bogor Regency. The incident occurred because the victim was considered by the perpetrators to have seized a parking lot with a turnover of Rp. 100 million per month.

The Head of the Cileungsi Police, Kompol Andri Alam Wijaya, said the perpetrator AH (initials) could pocket as much as Rp. 100 million every month. This number comes from 18 parking attendants (jukir) in the Metland Cileungsi area.

"It's multiplied by shift, every 3 hours, 2 people are guarding. A total of 18 people are guarding. So the deposit is for parking security," Andri told reporters, Friday, October 29.

Andri also explained that since the victim came to the place 3 years ago, the perpetrator felt that the parking fee had decreased. The perpetrator, who is the nephew of the victim, turned out to arrive earlier than his uncle, about 10 years ago.

"The victim is 30%, the suspect gets 70%. Here, the victim becomes more violent, more control over the area," explained Andri.

Bogor Police Chief AKBP Harun emphasized that the parking deposit money they received was illegal, not included in the regional retribution.

"It does not include those who are prosecuted. They are only managed by them in front of Metland Cileungsi. So the motive of AH (the perpetrator) is hurt by taking over the parking deposit from the victim," explained Harun.

AH was arrested on the side of the Cileungsi-Jonggol Highway on October 17, 2021. AH is not alone, there are still two other suspects, ND and DA, who are the executor of the parking attendant's murder.
