"The cassation is rejected, the convict must serve a sentence of 9 months in prison", said Emilwan, quoted by Antara, Friday, October 29.

During the arrest on Friday morning, he said, the convict Setyo Nuryanto had tried to escape but was prevented.

After going through the administrative process, the convict was then taken to the Semarang Kedungpane Prison to serve his sentence.

Setyo Nuryanto has been found guilty along with another convict, Sri Katon, for falsifying letters when he was an employee at a furniture company in Semarang in 2007.

Both were sentenced to 9 months in prison for falsifying the cash disbursement letter in the company's cash deposit account.
