There Are 2 Patients At The Wisma Atlet Who Are Recovering, Hopefully, There Will Be More Today

JAKARTA - The number of patients being treated at the COVID-19 Special Emergency Hospital (RSDC) Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Jakarta, as of Thursday, decreased by two, compared to the figure on the previous day, Wednesday (27/10), said the Head of Information Command Joint Defense Areas (Kogabwilhan) I Marine Colonel Aris Mudian.

"Inpatients confirmed positive (COVID-19) in Towers 4, 5, 6, and 7 were 191 people, while the original number (one day earlier) was 193 people. There was a reduction of two inpatients," said Aris quoted from Antara.

He also said that from March 23, 2020, to October 28, 2021, the number of patients referred to the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital was 128.698 people.

Of that number, 126.869 COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged from the hospital, while 1.042 patients were referred to other hospitals.

The head of information for Defense Area Joint Command I (Kogabwilhan) National Armed Force (TNI) noted that 596 patients died at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital as of October 28, 2021.

On the same occasion, Aris also conveyed the development of the situation at the Galang Island Special Hospital for Infection (RSKI), Batam, Riau Islands.

The number of inpatients at the Galang Island Hospital as of Thursday was 165 people.

"There are 165 inpatients, including 90 men and 75 women. All 165 patients were confirmed positive for COVID-19," said Aris as quoted from his written statement.

The head of information for Kogabwilhan I TNI noted that in the last 24 hours the number of inpatients at the Galang Island Hospital increased by 16 people.

"As of October 28, 2021, there were 165 inpatients, originally (one day earlier) 149 people," he said.

From April 12, 2020, to October 28, 2021, the Galang Island Hospital received a total of 17.168 patients. Of that number, 16.960 patients have completed isolation, and 42 patients were referred to other hospitals, said Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, Thursday.

RSKI Galang Island reported that until October 28, 2021, one patient died due to COVID-19.
