35 Koja Residents Poisoned After Giving Rice Boxes From PSI Fraction

JAKARTA - As many as 35 residents of Koja Village, Koja Subdistrict, North Jakarta were poisoned after receiving the distribution of rice boxes from members of the Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI).

This was confirmed by the Head of RW 06 Koja, Suratman. According to Suratman, the distribution of rice boxes with the PSI logo was carried out yesterday.

"We got 89 boxes of rice boxes. Then, there were 35 people recorded at the public health who were diagnosed with food poisoning", said Suratman when contacted, Monday, October 25.

Suratman explained that the distribution of food was carried out spontaneously by PSI to care for the residents.

Then, the residents of Koja also eat a rice box containing rice with a side dish of eggs, beans, tempeh orek, and vegetables. Apparently, 3 hours later, 35 residents felt nauseous.

"The findings (of poisoning) took about 2 to 3 hours to feel the symptoms of nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. That's what the residents felt", said Suratman.

Until finally, 24 residents were taken to Koja Hospital for treatment and treatment. 11 people decided to stay at home.

Then, of the dozens of residents who seek treatment, most have been allowed to go home and 5 residents have been hospitalized.

Regarding this incident, Suratman admitted that his party had coordinated with PSI for further handling. "We are still clarifying this, PSI will also attend the Balai Warga RW 06 Koja", he added.
