KPK Seizes Money And Documents At Dodi Reza Alex Noerdin's House Regarding Alleged Infrastructure Bribery

JAKARTA - Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confiscated money and documents while searching two locations, including the private residence of the inactive Musi Banyuasin Regent Dodi Reza Alex Noerdin. The search was carried out on Saturday, October 23 in Palembang City, South Sumatra.

In this case, Dodi has been named as a suspect in receiving bribes related to infrastructure procurement in Musi Banyuasin Regency for the 2021 fiscal year.

"The investigative team has completed carrying out forced searches at two different locations in the Palembang City area", KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, told reporters, Monday, October 25.

In addition to searching Dodi Reza's residence, the KPK also searched buildings on Jalan Talang Kerangga, 30 Ilir, Bukit Kecil, 30 Ilir, Ilir Barat II District, Palembang.

"From the two locations in question, the investigator team found and secured evidence, including various documents and a sum of money allegedly related to the case", said Ali.

Furthermore, investigators have also found documents and electronic devices allegedly related to the bribery case on Friday, October 22. This finding was obtained from a search of five locations in the same city.

"The Investigative Team has also completed carrying out forced searches in 5 different areas in the city of Palembang, South Sumatra, namely the residences of the parties related to the case where evidence was found and secured, including various documents and electronic devices that are still suspected to have something to do with the case", Ali explained.

Furthermore, all the evidence will be analyzed and confiscated to complete the files belonging to Dodi and the other suspects.

"All evidence will be immediately analyzed further to confirm its connection with the case in question and then immediately confiscate it to complete the case file of the suspect DRA et al", said Ali.

As previously reported, the KPK has named Musi Banyuasin Regent Dodi Reza Alex Noerdin as a suspect in the alleged bribery of infrastructure projects.

Not only, Dodi, three other people were also named as suspects, namely the Head of PUPR, Musi Banyuasin Regency, Herman Mayori; Head of SDA/PPK Department of PUPR (Ministry of Public Works and Housing), Musi Banyuasin Regency, Eddi Umari; and Director of PT Selaras Simpati Nusantara Suhandy.

During the silent operation, the KPK also recovered IDR 270 million and IDR 1.5 billion from Dodi's aide in Jakarta.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said Dodi had carried out impudent practices by manipulating several lists, including making a list of potential partners who would carry out project work whose budget came from the APBD-P (Changes in Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget) for the 2021 Fiscal Year and provincial financial assistance, including the PUPR Office of the Musi Banyuasin Regency.

In addition, it turns out that he has determined the percentage of the fee for each project value with details of 10 percent for him, 3-5 percent for Herman, and 2-3 percent for Eddi and other related parties.

As a result of this impudent practice, the company owned by Suhandy, namely PT Selaras Simpati Nusantara, was declared the winner of the four development projects. The project is the rehabilitation of the Ngulak III Irrigation Area (IDPMIP) in Ngulak III Village, Kec. Sanga with a contract value of IDR 2.39 billion; an increase in the DIR Epil irrigation network with a contract value of IDR 4.3 billion; improvement of irrigation network of DIR Muara Teladan with a contract value of IDR 3.3 billion; normalization of Ulak Ria Lake, Sekayu District with a contract value of IDR 9.9 billion.

Dodi is expected to receive a commitment fee of IDR 2.6 billion from Suhandy. However, when the OTT was carried out, he only received some of the money given through his subordinates, namely Herman and Eddi.
