Odd Even On 13 DKI Roads Starting Today, Remember Which Roads Are Included And Which Vehicles Are Allowed

JAKARTA - Today, Monday, October 25, Metro Jaya Police together with the Provincial Government (Pemprov) DKI Jakarta expanded the application of odd-even (gage) areas in the Jakarta area, to 13 points.

Initially, the odd-even implementation was only carried out in Sudirman, Thamrin and Rasuna Said during the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM).

The odd-even implementation scheme at these 13 points is carried out in two shifts, namely morning and evening.

"Then the time of application remains in effect in the morning and evening from 06.00 to 10.00 western Indonesia time in the morning. Then in the evening or afternoon from 16.00 to 21.00 western Indonesia time," said Director of Traffic of the Metro Jaya Police Grand Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo to reporters, Friday, 22 October.

However, the odd-even scheme will not apply on weekends or Saturdays and Sundays. Gage also does not apply on public holidays.

The odd-even point expansion will take effect on Monday, October 25. Thus, vehicles with police numbers (nopol) that do not match the date will be ticketed.

The police said the odd-even expansion was carried out after analysis. One of them is about increasing the volume of vehicles.

"That's why people feel that today is more congested than before because it rose between 37-40 percent compared to PPKM Level-4 and 3," said Sambodo.

Here are the details of the 13 odd-even application areas:

Meanwhile, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that there are 17 types of vehicles that will not be dealt with when passing the odd-even points. The following are details of 17 types of vehicles that are excluded from the odd-even scheme:

1. Special vehicles carrying persons with disabilities

2. Ambulance

3. Fire Trucks

4. Yellow Plated Public Transportation

5. Electric Motor Driven Vehicle

6. Motorcycle

7. Oil or Gas Fuel Transport Vehicle

8. Vehicle for the leader of the State High Institutions of the Republic of Indonesia

- President and Vice President

- Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly, House of Representatives, and Regional Representatives Council

-Chairman of the Supreme Court, Constitutional Court, Judicial Commission and the Supreme Audit Agency

9. Red Plated Operational vehicle for TNI and Polri

10. Vehicles for leaders and officials of foreign countries and international institutions who are state guests

11. Vehicles to provide assistance in traffic accidents

12. Vehicles for certain purposes with the consideration of Police officers

13. Vehicles for health workers handling COVID-19 during the COVID-19 disaster management
