JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) Lusiana Herawati reminded Jakarta residents to immediately pay the Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) in 2021.
Lusiana said PBB-P2 is one type of local tax that contributes quite a lot to local revenue (PAD).
He explained that the payment of PBB-P2 made by taxpayers would greatly assist the DKI Provincial Government in carrying out the COVID-19 prevention program. Thus, DKI's economic condition will soon recover.
"Therefore, we urge the residents of DKI Jakarta who have not paid PBB-P2 in 2021, immediately pay off their obligations to help economic recovery in DKI Jakarta," said Lusiana in her statement, Saturday, October 23.
Lusiana said that until now the PBB-P2 revenue as of October 22, 2021 had reached more than Rp. 7.7 trillion or 70.03 percent.
Furthermore, Lusiana emphasized that the deadline for the PBB-P2 payment was set on 29 October. Therefore, he emphasized that PBB-P2 payments should be made before the due date because there will be fines that will be imposed if late payments are made.
"Again, we remind you that payments made before maturity are also to avoid an administrative fine of 2 percent per month," he explained.
