KENDARI - Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Muhadjir Effendy admitted that he found underprivileged residents in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) who had not received social assistance from the Family Hope Program (PKH).

"Earlier, there were those who had not received the PKH social assistance, BLT. I asked for it to be immediately proposed," said Coordinating Minister Muhadjir when checking the distribution of social assistance in Sodohoa Village, Kendari, as reported by Antara, Friday, October 22.

The Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture asked the relevant parties directly so that residents who had not received the PKH or BLT social assistance immediately proposed directly so that they could receive the assistance.

In addition, if there are residents who switch from PKH, the components are no longer available, for example, their children have graduated from school, but are still not able to afford it, he said they could still receive other assistance.

"This must be immediately regulated by PKH assistants, from the Social Service so that they do not really need (but) government assistance cannot be reached," said the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture. supervision in the field.

"This I directly check the distribution of social assistance, and also check areas that are pockets of extreme poverty. Later, God willing, we will work on this area, we will propose it to the relevant Ministries to make the environment better," he said.

Muhadjir said that the government had prepared a very large aid, so that in the field it must be properly targeted and not fall into the hands of the wrong people.

The Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture was directly accompanied by the Mayor of Kendari when checking the distribution of social assistance in the area. On the same occasion the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture also distributed food packages and masks to the local community.
