JAKARTA - Hundreds of students from the Joint Student Executive Board (BEM) throughout Indonesia who held a demonstration in the Horse Statue area, Jalan Merdeka Selatan, were met by Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko.
Moeldoko responded to the 12 demands of the BEM SI Alliance that were addressed to Jokowi's government for 7 years in power on October 20.
During his meeting, Moeldoko promised to carefully study the demands that have been submitted by BEM SI to the government.
"The important thing is that the demonstration is carried out in an orderly manner. Moreover, at this time (the demo) has good thoughts for the government. We will study all of that well," said Moeldoko to the demonstrators, Thursday, October 21.
