Vice President: Indonesia Gold 2024 Is Not A Gift From The Sky, But We Have To Work Hard

SITUBONDO - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin said the goal of achieving a Golden Indonesia 2045 is not a gift from God alone, but a goal that must be achieved with the hard work of the entire community.

"Indonesia Gold in 2045, namely Indonesia that is advanced, prosperous and independent, is not something that is given or a gift from the sky, but we must strive for and prepare seriously," said the Vice President in Situbondo, Thursday.

The key to success in realizing Indonesia Gold 2045 is the availability of superior human resources (HR).

"That is human resources who are healthy, creative, innovative, competitive, productive, mastering science and technology (science and technology) and rin (research and innovation), entrepreneurial spirit, noble character and national insight," explained the vice president.

Therefore, the Vice President advised all universities that produce Indonesia's superior generation to be committed to building superior human resources and producing young people who are competent and ready to compete globally. Excellent HR, he added.

"Therefore, education must be ensured to have quality, capacity and focus on the mission of building superior human resources who are competent and ready to compete globally," he said.

Especially for Ibrahimy University, the Vice President hopes that the campus will add a commitment to producing human resources that uphold Islamic values, in addition to the criteria for superior human resources.

"For Ibrahimy University, these criteria must be supplemented by human resources who uphold the Islamic values of Ahlussunnah Wal Jamaah An-Nahdliyah, so that they are able to produce scholars and community leaders and reformers who are moderate, reliable and inclusive, capable of embracing all groups," Vice President said.
