JAKARTA - The Hanura Party split into two camps of Oesman Sapta Odang (OSO) and Wiranto. Even though Wiranto has resigned to stop the conflict, in fact this has not dampened his loyalist spirit to create a counter-national deliberation or extraordinary deliberation.

Al-Azhar University Political Observer Ujang Komarudin said there was no hope for this party to reconcile. This is because the divisions that occur within the party will deepen.

"Hanura has broken up. The current Hanura National Conference is no longer on the verge of a split. But it has long since split and the division has deepened. Before the Hanura Presidential Election had broken up. Because it broke up, Hanura did not qualify for Senayan," he said, when contacted by VOI in Jakarta, Wednesday , December 18th.

Ujang predicts that the current state of Hanura will greatly impact the electoral of parties in 2024. Moreover, many cadres have left and chose to go to other political parties as customers.

"If the 2019 Pileg is already troublesome and does not qualify for Senayan. Especially for 2024, Hanura will sink even further. One of the reasons is because of the large number of strong cadres and the potential to move to another party. There is no victory without unity," he said.

National Conference

The Wiranto camp did not accept the election of OSO as Chairman of Hanura through the National Conference (Munas) which was held at the Sultan Hotel, Jakarta today. He considered the event invalid.

Hanura founder Chairuddin Ismail also criticized this. He said that since participating in the Hanura National Conference, the events held by the OSO camp have never followed party rules.

"There are also no other candidates for chairman. Suddenly they were appointed by acclamation. Who yesterday claimed to have voting rights? Just check the DPD, the DPC," he said in a press conference at the Atlet Century Park Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday, December 18. .

Wiranto's loyalists plan to hold a counter-national meeting or extraordinary national meeting (Munaslub) to overturn the OSO leadership in the Hanura Party.

"We will hold Munaslub after there will be an Acting Chairman and we will form a new structure," he said.

According to Chairuddin, his camp had long prepared the new Hanura DPD and DPC to shake up the OSO leadership. Daryatmo's camp, which was a former opponent of the previous OSO camp, has also joined Wiranto's ranks.

"Later, we will immediately consolidate. We don't know if Daryatmo will become the Acting Chairman, right? The main thing is that the old people (Hanura) are united, if the new person breaks up, that's up," he said.

Annex political parties

Chairuddin also revealed how the OSO style led the Hanura Party. He uses terms such as company annexation in the United States as examples of OSO leadership.

"In fact, Pak OSO's Hanura style is what I happened to be in detective for a long time. In America there is a corporate rider, a company annexer. The trick is, if a company is in trouble, we join the shares, we buy, then we take over," he explained.

According to Chairuddin, he was not without reason to see OSO as the party's annexer. "For him, I say political party riders, annexers of political parties," he said.

In addition, according to Chairuddin, when OSO joined the Hanura Party, everyone was scolded and replaced at will. In fact, Munas III Hanura which reappointed OSO by acclamation was considered only to be filled by the OSO camp.
