Since The Beginning Of October, 2,848 Pertashops Have Been Operating Throughout Indonesia

JAKARTA - Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati, claimed that until early October 2021 PT Pertamina (Persero) had operated 2,848 Pertashops spread throughout Indonesia.

Thus, Nicke Widyawati hopes that the presence of Pertashop can facilitate energy accessibility for rural communities, as well as move the economy in the village.

"As of early October 2021, the number of Pertashops that have been operating has reached 2,848 units spread throughout Indonesia," said Nicke Widyawati quoting Antara, Saturday, October 16.

Nicke said the growth of Pertashop has three contributions, starting from reducing emissions, increasing the use of local products, and turning the village economy.

Currently, shifting Premium users to Pertalite is predicted to reduce carbon emissions by 5 million tons.

Pertamina targets to reduce carbon emissions by 12 million tons by 2022, through sales growth of Pertamax products.

The Domestic Content Level (TKDN) in Pertashop can increase inclusive and sustainable economic growth, open up productive and comprehensive job opportunities, and decent work.

Pertashop also collaborates with banks and can create new crowds of business centers in villages, so that funds will roll over in rural areas.

Pertamina continues to strive to be able to present Pertashop in 7,196 sub-districts throughout Indonesia.

In supporting the construction of thousands of Pertashops, Pertamina has synergized with the Ministry of Home Affairs; Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration; and the Islamic Economic Community (MES).
