Sporty Casual Style, Vice President Ma'ruf Takes A Casual Walk With Forkopimda West Papua

PAPUA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin and his wife Wury Estu Handayani exercise with the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) of West Papua Province on the sidelines of a working visit to Manokwari, Friday, October 15.

Wearing casual sporty clothes, Vice President Ma'ruf took a leisurely walk at the XVIII/Kasuari Military Command Headquarters accompanied by the XVIII/Casuari Military Commander, Major General I Nyoman Cantiasa, the Governor of West Papua Province, Dominggus Mandacan along with other elements of the West Papua Forkopimda.

Kapendam XVIII/Kasuari, Colonel Arm Hendra Pesireron said, the visit of the Vice President to Makodam XVIII/Kasuari was one of a series of working visits to the Manokwari region.

"This Vice President's working visit is also his first visit to West Papua Province," he said as quoted by Antara.

Sports activities, he said, began with a warm-up and continued with a healthy walk around the XVIII/Kasuari Kodam complex.

“This sporting activity also aims to maintain health and improve body fitness as well as to strengthen friendship.

The healthy walking event ended with a group photo and a friendly event at the Kasuari Green Tourism Garden, Kodam XVIII/Kasuari.

Participating in this activity, the West Papua Police Chief and his wife, West Papua Kabinda, Kasdam XVIII/Kasuari, Kodam and West Papua Regional Police officials, Chair and Deputy Chair of Persit KCK Region XVIII/Kasuari and Chair of the PKK West Papua Province.
