Lovebirds Arrested For Stealing 2 Mobile Phones At Barbershop Kuta Bali

BADUNG - The Kuta Police, Bali, arrested couple Gede Mahasudi (46) and Lolly Ferdyana Westplat (40) for stealing mobile phones at a barbershop, Kubu Anyar Street, Badung Regency, Bali.

"From the results of the interrogation, the perpetrator Lolly admitted that he was the one who took the two cellphones that were on the haircut table", said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Kuta Police, AKP Made Putra Yudistira, Thursday, October 14.

At first, the lovebirds entered the barbershop at around 09.35 WITA, Monday, October 4. At that time the barbershop employee put his 2 cellphones on the barbershop table.

However, the perpetrator, Gede Mahasudi, who was cutting his hair at the time, took his cellphone. His partner also immediately left the barbershop.

"Shortly later, the victim realized that the two cellphones were not on the shaving table. The victim reported it to the Kuta Police", he said.

From the report, the police checked CCTV footage to identify the perpetrator. A couple who stole cellphones were arrested on Thursday, October 7 in Kuta. The evidence that was secured were two stolen cellphones.

"As a result of the interrogation, perpetrator Lolly took the two cellphones when perpetrator Gede finished cutting his hair", said Yudistira.
