DENPASAR - Bali Governor, Wayan Koster, handed over scholarships worth IDR 1.5 billion to 1,501 students from elementary/MI, SMP/MTs, SMA/SMK/MA levels, and high school students from public and private schools.

"I am very proud of your perseverance in following the learning process which ultimately resulted in being the best", said Koster during the scholarship award ceremony at Bali Cultural Park, Denpasar, Wednesday, October 13.

The scholarship is intended for students who get the first, second, and third overall winners in their respective schools. The scholarship is included in the form of the Bali Regional Development Bank Student Savings Book.

The Governor of Bali directly handed over the passbooks to 53 student representatives who were present at the Cultural Park, Province, while other students took part in online activities.

"You are excellent children, I believe this achievement is not an easy achievement, it takes a long process to achieve it", he said.
