Police Give Sanctions To 13 Kebon Jeruk Residents Who Are Not Wearing Masks

JAKARTA - The Kebon Jeruk Police held an operation to justify masks to discipline the public to maintain the health protocol (prokes) at Level 3 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) on Jalan Duri Raya, RT 04/07, Duri Kepa, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.

From the results of the judicial review of masks, officers still found 13 prokes violators who did not wear masks. At least 13 residents were forced to undergo social sanctions.

The Head of Kebon Jeruk Police, Commissioner Slamet Riyadi, said that the implementation of the judicial review of masks was carried out together with three pillars officers with the aim of targeting residents not complying with the health protocol.

"We carry out this activity on an ongoing basis to provide education to the community in the Kebon Jeruk area," he said when contacted, Tuesday, October 12.

Prokes violators are given social sanctions in the form of cleaning public facilities. This operation involved joint officers of the National Armed Force (TNI), National Police (Polri), and Civil Service Police (Satpol PP) with 14 officers.

"Residents who have not been vaccinated will immediately be vaccinated to achieve herd immunity and avoid COVID-19," he said.
