JAKARTA - The fire that hit the Mintohardjo Hospital Pharmacy Building on Jalan Bendungan Hilir, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, on Sunday morning, was allegedly caused by an electrical short circuit.
Head of the Operations Section (Kasiop) of the Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency (Sudin Gulkarmat), Unggul said, due to the fire, the logistics warehouse containing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the 2nd floor of the Pharmacy Building was engulfed by the red rooster.
"It was the pharmacy warehouse containing PPE on the second floor that caught fire. We suspect the fire was from an electrical short circuit," said Unggul when confirmed, Sunday, October 10, in Jakarta.
Unggul explained, officers received the news of the fire at 05.05 western Indonesia time. Then, officers arrived at 05.15 western Indonesia time with the initial deployment of two fire engines and 10 personnel.
