Ahead Of The Rainy Season, DKI Provincial Government Evaluates PPSU Performance To Be More Diligent

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government held a standby rally to face the rainy season simultaneously in 44 sub-districts. This apple was attended by Public Infrastructure and Facilities Handling (PPSU) workers.

DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary, Marullah, said that this apple was conducted as a form of guidance and evaluation related to the performance of PPSU workers to be more diligent in working in dealing with flood impact control.

“The purpose of this activity is to make a positive contribution to flood management in the region. At the same time, it is a form of guidance on the performance of PPSU workers with the hope that PPSU workers can work more optimally and benefit the surrounding environment", said Marullah on Friday, October 8.

Marullah said that this PPSU performance evaluation was carried out because the DKI Provincial Government was committed to providing the best service to residents, including flood control in their neighborhoods.

"To ensure this, the DKI Provincial Government always routinely conducts guidance and evaluations related to the performance of PPSU workers. The village heads will conduct periodic evaluations by Governor Regulation No. 125 of 2019", said Marullah.

However, Marullah admitted that PPSU cannot work alone in anticipating the rainy season and the impact of floods in Jakarta. He also hopes that the people of DKI Jakarta will work together to keep the environment clean.

"We hope that the residents and the DKI Provincial Government will actively work together to keep the environment clean and take care of public facilities and infrastructure. The collaboration between residents and the DKI Provincial Government is very much needed to keep Jakarta clean, healthy, and free from flooding", he concluded.
