JAKARTA - Bank Nagari Lubukbasung Branch, Agam Regency, West Sumatra, provided 650 souvenirs and tickets with prizes for COVID-19 vaccination participants held by the police and local government at Rang Agam Sports Center Lubuk Basung, Wednesday, October 6.

Head of Bank Nagari Lubukbasung Branch, Shanty Dewi Fauzy, said that the souvenirs and gifts provided were in the form of stationery, fans, study lamps, and others.

"We provide souvenirs in the form of educational equipment needs because participants generally come from students", she said, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, October 6.

She said the prizes provided were 50 gifts.

Participants will get a lottery number from the committee and after that, the number is lotted.

"For participants who have not received numbers, we give them souvenirs", she said.

She added that the souvenirs and gifts were intended to motivate residents to want to be vaccinated.

In this way, the number of Agam residents who are vaccinated will increase.

Meanwhile, Agam Deputy Police Chief Kompol Syafril added that the prize was also provided by Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI).

"This is a form of support for State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) in supporting the success of vaccination", he said.

The number of participants in the vaccination is targeted at 1,000 people and vaccination is given to increase group immunity, so that the virus does not attack and people can carry out their activities as before.

For this reason, he appealed to residents who have not been vaccinated to immediately come to vaccine outlets and health centers.

"We will continue to carry out vaccinations to sub-districts, and community groups to accelerate people who are vaccinated", he said.
