JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Satpol PP again found violations in a number of nightclubs in Mangga Besar, Tamansari District, West Jakarta.

In a raid conducted by Satpol PP, officers found four nightclubs that violated operating hours, even violated health protocols in the middle of PPKM level 3.

When the raid was carried out, the Satpol PP officers found visitors and guides having a drinking party accompanied by music that exceeded operating hours. As a result, the officer gave a 7x24 hour seal sanction.

When confirmed, the Head of the Tamansari Sub-district, Agus Sulaeman, confirmed that the operation was being carried out at the city and provincial levels.

"It's an activity at the city and province level. The provincial and city levels (West Jakarta) carry out supervision at the (entertainment) venue. Because the leading sector (supervision) of entertainment venues is currently still at the City and Provincial level," he said when contacted by VOI, Monday 4 October.

In addition, the sub-district head appealed to all night entertainment venues to continue to apply health protocols (prokes) and make sure all their employees have been vaccinated.

"The operation is based on reports from the community to the sub-district, then the sub-district reports to the City (West Jakarta) and Provincial levels. That is based on community reports," he said.
