JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency is carrying out traffic engineering on Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai on the north and south sides, East Jakarta. This traffic engineering is carried out because of the work of box culverts and concrete crossing buis.

The head of the DKI Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that the work from the front of the East Jakarta PMI Office to the round of the PPP building was carried out from October 2 to December 15, 2021.

"There are two stages of work. The first stage is the implementation of the box culvert work which will be carried out on the north side of Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai from the west (Jatinegara) to the east (East Jakarta Administrative Mayor's Office)," said Syafrin in his statement, Sunday, October 3. .

During the work implementation period, traffic flow will be diverted for the needs of the development workspace and traffic flow using the Transjakarta route (mixed traffic).

Therefore, Syafrin asked the public, especially road users to adjust their mobility and still obey traffic signs.

"We hope that road users can adjust the traffic arrangements set, always obey traffic signs and follow the instructions of officers in the field, and prioritize road safety," he said.

1. Heavy vehicles with JBB above 5,500 kg are prohibited from crossing from 04.00 to 22.00 from the West (Jatinegara) towards the East (East Jakarta Mayor's Office), it is recommended that through the Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai road (TL Klender Station) turn right-Jalan Pahlawan Revolution (TL Fly Over Pondok Bambu), turn left Jalan Kolonel Sugiono (TL Mc Donald's Raden Inten), turn left Jalan Raden Inten II (TL Buaran) or go straight to Jalan RS. Soekanto.

2. In the opposite direction from the East (East Jakarta Administrative Mayor's Office) to the West (Jatinegara) traffic regulation applies normally.

Meanwhile, in the second phase, the Concrete Crossing Buis work was carried out on the south side of Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai from the East (East Jakarta Administrative Mayor's Office) to the West (Jatinegara), which was carried out after the completion of the first phase of the work.

The traffic engineering during the construction of the concrete buis crossing is as follows:

1.
