This Sunday, DKI Jakarta Residents Are Still Safe To Travel, The BMKG Expects Sunny Cloudy Weather

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said that the weather in the DKI Jakarta area is predicted to be cloudy throughout Sunday, October 3.

According to Antara, the people of DKI Jakarta can feel the sunny weather in the morning, afternoon, and evening. However, the BMKG warned that the buffer zones of the Capital City, such as Bogor and Depok, are expected to experience rain which can be accompanied by lightning or thunder and strong winds during the day and evening until the evening.

Rain in the Bogor area affects the discharge of the Katulampa Dam which passes through the Ciliwung River to Jakarta, while the rain in Depok contributes to an increase in the discharge upstream of the Sunter River.

For other buffer areas, such as Bekasi, light rain is forecast in the afternoon and evening. Meanwhile, in Tangerang, light rain is forecast in the evening.

Meanwhile, the air temperature in DKI Jakarta is estimated to be around 24-33 degrees Celsius for the areas of West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta. For the Central Jakarta and North Jakarta areas it ranges from 25-31 degrees Celsius, while the Thousand Islands ranges from 27-30 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the estimated humidity is around 70-95 percent in West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta, 80-95 percent in Central Jakarta and North Jakarta, and 75-90 percent in the Thousand Islands.
