2 Officials Become Corruption Suspects, Indramayu Regent Nina Agustina Respects Legal Process At The Attorney General's Office

INDRAMAYU - The Regent of Indramayu, West Java, Nina Agustina respects the law enforcement process against the head of service and the head of the division at the Housing and Land Affairs Office (DPKP). Both are suspects in corruption cases handled by the West Java High Court (Kejati).

"We respect the law enforcement process carried out by the West Java Prosecutor's Office," said Nina in Indramayu, quoted by Antara, Friday, October 1.

Nina said the appointment of two officials as suspects showed that corruption was still happening in the administration of the government bureaucracy in Indramayu Regency.

Therefore, he hopes that all ASN can take lessons, so that corruption cases in the Indramayu Regency Government will no longer occur in the future.

So that this does not happen again, the Regent of Indramayu made efforts and steps both internally and externally such as revamping all the bureaucracy, how to procure projects and budgeting in accordance with the rules.

"No one should play around with the state budget, the state budget, the provincial budget and the district budget," he said.

Nina assessed that the behavior of the ASN personnel was very detrimental and her party appreciated the law enforcement efforts carried out by the prosecutor's office.

"This case has been handled by the prosecutor's investigator for the alleged case in 2019 with the suspect being the Head of Service and Head of Division," he said.

Nina also reminded that ASN work in accordance with their main duties and functions and not to be easily tempted, because officials at the head of the head office or head of division are officials who have a lot of temptations.

"There is a temptation for corruption and you can be hostile if you don't join in, maybe it can be like that," said Nina.
