Inaugurating 11 Officials At Medan City Government, Bobby Nasution: Must Understand What I Mean

JAKARTA - Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution inaugurated 11 officials within the Medan City Government. President Jokowi's son-in-law wants his men to understand what he wants.

Bobby Nasution said that the newly appointed official must be able to change and accelerate the performance of the Medan City Government. No less important must be able to innovate in the midst of the current COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Those who were inaugurated were HM Sofyan as Assistant to the Government, Pulungan Harahap as Head of Youth and Sports (Kadispora), T. Ahmad Sofyan as Expert Staff of the Mayor of Medan for Community and Human Resources, Adlan as Head of the Library and Archives Service, Zulfansyah Ali Syahputra as The Head of the Environment Agency, Sulaiman Harahap, is the Inspector of the City of Medan.

Arjuna Sembiring as Head of National and Political Unity Agency, HM Husni as Chief Executive of the Regional Disaster Management Agency, Syarifuddin Irsan Dongoran as Head of Cleanliness and Gardening, Edliaty as Head of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, and Community Empowerment, Endar Sutan Lubis as Head of Housing and Settlement Areas Room.

"What is seen is the performance and the results are awaited and expected by the people of the City of Medan. We are all here required to work and innovate very well. In the midst of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we know that the condition of the community is experiencing difficulties. For that, we must be able to work better than the previous one," said Bobby Nasution, Wednesday, September 29.

The inauguration was attended by the Chairman of the Medan Regional Representative Council (DPRD), Hasyim, Deputy Mayor of Medan Aulia Rachman, Medan City Secretary Wiriya Alrahman, Medan Police Chief Commissioner Riko Sunarko, Military District Commander (Dandim) 0201/Medan Kol Inf Agus Setiadar and representatives of the Medan Kajari.

Bobby Nasution emphasized that the newly appointed officials should understand what the leadership has said so far, including the goals and directions that must be understood.

"So you have to look smart. Because so far many officials have not understood it. For that, I hope that officials understand what I mean and what direction I'm going because the vision and mission of the City of Medan have been set. Likewise with the City's priority programs The field has been determined. Understand it all and give your best in order to achieve it," explained Bobby Nasution.

Bobby Nasution also emphasized planning as the key to work execution. If you plan to copy and paste, it will not work.

"Me and the Deputy Mayor have never asked for anything unreasonable. So the leaders must be open because there are still many who have not been open and cover their work, covering the budget where. So in the future, we have to work as a team," Bobby Nasution ordered.
