BOGOR - The Bogor City Government has allowed tourist attraction managers who have met the administrative requirements and health protocol facilities to conduct a trial opening for the public.

Bogor Mayor Bima Arya at a meeting with the Bogor Tourism Object Association reminded tourism object managers to maintain their commitment to prioritizing health.

"Please do the opening trial, by implementing the CHSE standard health protocol and providing the Care Protect QR code board at every entry and exit," he said, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, September 22.

Bima Arya's CHSE means cleanliness, health, safety, and environmental sustainability.

The Mayor of Bima Arya also reminded that if during the opening trial there was an "explosion" of COVID-19 cases at a tourist attraction, the manager would be given strict sanctions from closing to revocation of business permits.

According to Bima Arya, the condition of the transmission of COVID-19 in Indonesia, especially the city of Bogor, is currently very sloping.

"This is thanks to an intensive and continuous coordination chain from the center to the regions," he said.

However, in this very sloping COVID-19 condition, all parties must remain vigilant by continuing to implement strict health protocols.

"Don't let the explosion of COVID-19 cases happen again," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of the Bogor City Tourism and Culture Office, Atep Budiman, said that through the coordination of the Bogor City Tourism and Culture Office with the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry, there are tourist attractions in Bogor City that have been allowed to conduct a trial opening, namely the Jbound.

Jbound is a nature tourism with facilities, including play ground, animal feeding, outbound, and family gathering in Mulyaharja Village, South Bogor District, Bogor City.

According to Atep Budiman, Jbound can conduct a trial opening because it has met all administrative requirements.

The Jbound experience is shared with other tourism actors, and tourism actors have independently registered requirements, such as CHSE certification to the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and QR Code Care to Protect to the Ministry of Health, said Atep.

Atep hopes that business actors can give each other optimism so that Bogor City tourism can rise again, making broad contributions, both for tourism actors themselves, for tourists, and for local revenue (PAD).
