DENPASAR - The Denpasar City Judicial Team, Bali has disciplined 20 residents who violate the health protocol at PPKM level 3.

The Head of Denpasar City Police Satpol, Dewa Gede Anom Sayoga, said that they were caught when his party enforced health protocols in the area of Jalan Gunung Agung - Jalan Gunung Sanghyang - Jalan Gunung Tangkuban Perahu, Padang Sambian Village, West Denpasar.

"In the control, 15 people were given guidance because they used masks incorrectly, and five people were fined on the spot for not wearing masks," he said, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, September 22.

In an effort to prevent the transmission of COVID-19, violators who do not wear masks will be subject to sanctions. Included in the control, his party also provided masks for free. "We are making this effort so that people are more orderly in obeying the health protocol rules so that they are not exposed to the virus or transmitting COVID-19," he continued.

Dewa Sayoga said that free masks were also given to people in need, so that in every enforcement, his party always provided masks.

In addition, during the control, the Denpasar City Judiciary Team also provided education to the entire community to always comply with health protocols.

"In this way, it is hoped that the COVID-19 pandemic will slow down quickly, so that the community's economy can return to normal," said Dewa Sayoga.
