Violating 3 Regional Regulations By Not Having IMB, 25 House Units And 8 Shophouses In Depok Sealed By Satpol PP

DEPOK - The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) Depok City, West Java, sealed a residential building on Masjid II Ujung street, RT 01/02 Rangapan Jaya Village, Pancoran Mas District. Residential buildings do not have a Building Permit (IMB).

"We did the sealing based on a letter from the Office of Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) because the building does not have an IMB," said the Head of Depok City Police Headquarters, Lienda Ratnanurdianny in her statement, Antara, Sunday, September 19.

Lienda said the building violated 3 Depok City Regional Regulations (Perda). First, Number 03 of 2019 concerning Licensing and Non-licensing. Then, Depok City Regional Regulation Number 01 of 2015 concerning Regional Spatial Planning and Depok City Regulation Number 02 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Regional Regulation Number 12 of 2013 concerning Buildings and IMB.

She said the sealing was carried out with a joint team from the Depok City Satpol PP, TNI-Polri. There are 25 residential units that have been sealed. Also, eight units of shophouses because they do not have an IMB.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Depok Satpol PP Regional Regulation Enforcement Division, Taufiqurakhman, revealed that housing owners must immediately take care of licensing in accordance with the requirements. Starting from taking care of building requirements according to applicable regulations.

She said the building owner would be given six months to take care of the IMB process. If up to a total of six months from the date stated in the official report, the owner of the building has not yet received a permit, then a determination will be made for demolition from the Mayor of Depok.

"It will be demolished according to the approval of the mayor if the owner does not report the building permit during the deadline that has been given to take care of the IMB," she said.
