Coordinating Minister Mahfud MD Makes Sure Ali Kalora Was Killed By A Bullet From The Greater Madago Task Force

JAKARTA - The good news was shared by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD. Ali Kalora, the leader of the East Indonesia Mujahidin (MIT) group, was confirmed to have been killed by the Madago Raya Task Force.

"The leader of the East Indonesia Mujahideen (MIT) Ali Kalora who once caused a stir because of the sadistic slaughter of many people in Central Sulawesi, after being on the run for almost a year, today was shot dead by Densus AT/88," Mahfud tweeted on his Twitter account, Saturday, September 18.

Ali Kalora is not alone. Mahfud said, one of his men named Ikrimah, was also shot dead.

Previously, there had been a shootout between the Madago Raya Task Force and the Poso terrorist wanted list (DPO) group in the mountains of Astina Village, Torue District, Parigi Moutong Regency.

The gunfight occurred at around 17.20 WITA in the Mountains of Astina Village, Torue District, Parigi Moutong Regency.

Last March 3, the Madago Raya task force, a combination of the TNI/Polri, also had armed contact with the East Indonesia Mujahideen. It was said that at that time the leader of MIT Poso, Ali Kalora, was shot, but managed to escape.
