JAKARTA - The Provincial Management of the Jakarta Indonesian Journalists Association will hold a Journalist Competency Test (UKW) this Friday and tomorrow (17-18 September 2021) at the PWI Jakarta Secretariat, 9th floor of Prasada Sasana Karya Building, Jalan Soeryopranoto number 9, Central Jakarta.

The 52nd UKW PWI Jaya was attended by 17 participants from the Young category, namely from Radio Sonora (5), Warta Ekonomi (3), Kabarpublik.id (1), Indo Maritim.id (1), Bogor Update (1) , Sinarnews.tv (1), Satunusantaranews (1), Matahari.tv (1), HMS.Times (1), Popmama.com (1), and Warta Kota (1).

Then two more years to advance to the Main category, and have the right to become editor-in-chief later. Competent from the Intermediate category, he can already be the managing editor of the media, "said Radjab Ritonga.

At the national level, out of a total of 544 UKWs that have been held, 13,850 journalists have been declared competent. "We hope that friends who graduate from UKW will be more professional in carrying out their journalistic duties as journalists in the future," said Sayid Iskandarsyah, Chair of PWI Jakarta.
