Inaugurate 16 High-ranking East Java Provincial Government Officials, Khofifah: Prepare Super Team

SURABAYA - A total of 16 high-level leadership positions in the East Java Provincial Government have been filled.

The officials who passed the open selection were appointed by East Java Governor, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, at the Grahadi State building, Wednesday, September 15.

"They are from echelon III to echelon II. Some are II-A, some are II-B. The current position is the position as a policymaker", said Khofifah on the sidelines of the inauguration.

There were also the appointed officials, Head of the East Java Health Service, Erwin Astha Triyono; Head of the East Java Livestock Service, Indyah Aryani; Head of the East Java Bina Marga Public Works Agency, Edy Tambeng Widjaja; Head of the East Java Water Resources Public Works Agency, Muhammad Isa Ansoriatd; Head of the National and Political Unity Agency, R. Heru Wahono Santoso.

Then, the Head of the Jember Bakorwil, Imam Hidayat; the head of the Madiun Bakorwil, Eddy Supriyanto; Head of Malang Bakorwil, Budi Sarwoto; Head of the East Java Regional Secretariat Development Administration Bureau, Sigit Panoentoen; Head of the Administration Bureau, Moh. Ali Kuncoro. Head of the Regional Secretariat Organizational Bureau, Ramliyanto.

Head of the Bureau of Procurement of Goods and Services, Endy Alim Abdi Nusa, Head of the Economic Bureau of the East Java Regional Secretariat, Iwan; Deputy Director of Support Services at RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang, dr. Widodo Budi Prasetyo; Deputy Director of Education and Research Supporting Dr. Soedono Madiun Regional Hospital, dr. Abdul Rohim and the Director of Karsa Husada Batu Hospital, dr. Muhammad Rizal.

Khofifah advised that the inaugurated officials could carry out their mandate properly. Therefore, over the next week, officials will get a more comprehensive insight into their duties and responsibilities.

"The duties and responsibilities vary from institutional sources. So I want the curriculum to be prepared within the next 2-3 days. First are matters related to accountability, both performance, and finance", he said.

Materials that will be received include financial accountability from The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), the Financial and Development Audit Agency (BPKP), and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Furthermore, Ministry of State Apparatus Utilization and Bureaucratic Reform, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Ministry of Finance. The goal, so that when carrying out the mandate of these officials can maintain prudence but still Cettar (Fast, effective, efficient, transparent, and responsive)

"No less important, because echelon II A and B are policymakers in their fields. So we need a leadership format that can manage their respective institutions by performing as a Head of Regional Apparatus Organization", he said.

Governor Khofifah also instructed 16 new officials to prepare a super team. According to him, the head of the service and the head of the bureau need a secretary and her apparatus.

"Make them a super team within the duties and functions of the brothers and sisters according to their duties and responsibilities", said Khofifah.
