Densus 88 Anti-terror Arrest Three Suspected JI Network Theorists In Bekasi

JAKARTA - Densus 88 Antiteri arrested three suspected terrorists in the West Bekasi area. They are members of the Jamaah Islamiyah (JI) network.

"So it is true that three people have been arrested. This is the JI group," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan when confirmed, Friday, September 10.

The three terrorist suspects, said Ramadhan, had the initials MEK, S, and SH. They were arrested at different locations but on the same day, Friday, September 10.

"The identities of the three are MEK, he was arrested this morning. The two S from different places were arrested today at 06.00 WIB, the third was SH," he said.

However, Ramadhan has not presented the evidence confiscated in the arrest.

Currently, they are being taken to Polda Metro Jaya. Because investigators from Densus 88 Anti-terror will explore their involvement in the JI network.
